We played at Barlycorn again last night for the second time in a couple of months. A few guests were invited along this time so it was a bit of a "coming out" amongst friends, many of whom got to see our current line up play in Melbourne for the first time.

The set went down quite well & we're constantly improving with each gig. We'll be taking a month or so off during the new year break but will be back in the rehearsal studios in mid january to tighten the act up even more.

What a blast! I had a great time playing this gig - it had been a long time since playing live & I'd almost forgotten how much fun it was! Although this was my first gig with QE, Ant (Brian) was also only on his second appearance but things went pretty well considering. After a lot of practise, I had memorised *nearly* everything but couldn't resist taking a quick peek at the score on a couple of numbers.

We had an awesome audience who hit the dance floor in a major way & sang along with nearly every song - it's a great feeling to get back from the audience. Can't wait to go back to Wagga again one day. I shared a few drinks with a local newspaper reporter after the show who kindly invited me back to his place in the middle of the morning to finish off a awesome curry his wife had made earlier that day.
